Brock and I just returned from a follow up visit at Shriner's to check on his clubfeet. Dr. Mack said they look great! That he's standing up great and the pressure he places on his feet is perfect. We go back in 4 months. When Dr. Mack asked me if I had any questions, just one came to mind...
"Will you guys be here in 4 months?"
Our local Shriner's is one of the few that are up for discussion on closing. And although I've been a little concerned I haven't been too worried. Granted if they do decide to close the hospital it will still take another 9 months or so to get patients transferred ad taken care of. So in 4 months, Yes they will be here. Dr. Mack also told me that he does plan on staying in the area if the hospital does close. We are glad to hear about that because he has been great in treating Brock's feet.
I continue to massage and stretch Brock's feet everyday, ususally while I read to him. Brock has begun to take a few unassisted steps here and there, but I'm sure he'll be off and running by the time we go to visit Nana and the rest of the family in Utah this August. {If not I'm sure trying to keep up with his cousins will get him there!}
So now we are on to learning more words, like nana, and cousin, and maybe even Utah! Have to prepare my bubbas for our trip!

Sid the Science Kid
Brock and I love to watch this show every morning during Breakfast.You see I'm not a huge fan of TV for kids, but Brock needs a little bit of a distraction during his meals, otherwise he tends to just nibble and then wants to spend all day long snacking. So Sid makes Breakfast Time really easy!
Plus Sid has some great songs to share with us too! { I especially like the song that goes like this: "I Love my Mom. My Mom is cool, but now it's time for having fun at school!" It's too great not to love}

Torpedo Brock
With Ryszard being down in Alabama this weekend for a football game, I have had Brock all to myself. So needless to say I became a little tired of chasing him during Church. So during Closing exercises in Primary, I just let him crawl around. The minute I put him down he was off. A boy in primary Austin mentioned he had warp drive because he'd be on one side on the room one second and the next he's on the completely opposite side. After circling the room about a dozen times during our 10 minutes of closing exercises I was happy to get Brock into the car, and even happier that he konked out before I even left the parking lot. He is now slepping softly and I'm enjoying a minute or two of relaxation!
We're off to pick up Ryszard later tonight, hopefully my invisible tattoo won't reappear! {check my previous post for the story behind this one!}

Forward Continued...
Let me first state that Brock has always loved his rides in the car, a few times he has gotten upset, but that was either after being in the car seat for too long, or it being too dark outside and he wasn't able to see anything out the window. Well since turning his car seat around, he has loved his rides. Although now he can see me at every moment and chooses to now throw his bottle, books, toys, etc at my arm! So even though I am happy with his love of the new way to ride, I could do without and milk soaked, bruised up arm. Maybe I should remove my target tattoo that only he can see!

Writing our Missionary!
Yes, we have a missionary! It's my baby brother Mark. I wrote him a quick email today to let him know he has a new nephew. My sister April had her second baby boy this morning he's way cute and looks like his brother Riley! Anyway I wanted Mark to be let in on the good news, and I also told him about my pregnancy! I also mentioned how I was taking Brock to Coldstone to get his FREE birthday ice cream creation!
So I just check My email and my brother wrote back, not much, just a quick "thanks for the news, don't have time to write, Coldstone ROCKS!" Yeah that was it. Three simple things to say in response.
They say the field is White and ready to Harvest. By Mark's response that must be true!
PS. If you want to get a free ice cream creation on your birthday too, just go to coldstonecreamery.com and join their birthday club!
{ I recently joked with some friends that I needed to have another baby so I could get one more free ice cream every year.}
We are super excited about having another free ice cream, ahh I mean baby on the way!

So far...
This pregnancy has been quite different then when I was pregnant with Brock. With Brock I felt completely normal, until about the 8th month when I was just ready to have him here already!
But with this pregnancy, I've been feeling really lightheaded, nausea and tired, all of the time. Plus I think every joint in my body is starting to ache. Needless to say it hasn't been that much "fun" but it could be worse right.
