I Love~

To See the Temple!

Without a doubt, some of the most gorgeous places on this earth! I love the gentle spirit you feel , right when you walk through the door! The amazing work that takes place behind those doors. If only everyone knew How amazing these precious buildings are!

I Love~

The California Pizza Kitchen! Yummy Yummy Yummy!

I Love~

Scrapbooking! and my Mommy!
This is one of my favorite pictures, of the most beautiful person in my life! My Mom.
And I love scrapbooking so here you get 2 in one!

I Love~

Big Fluffy Clouds!
What great memories I have of being little, when my friends and I would sit on the big hill near my house and look for pictures in the clouds.

I Love~

Lighthouses!
The beach, seashells, lighthouses, see a theme going on? Not that I planned it that way. But really it just happens to be some of the things I love! I love the story behind a lighthouse. Firm , Strong and never drifting away from it's post. It's light always shinning, showing you the way HOME!

I Love~

Seashells!
It kind of goes along with my love of the beach. I love combing for seashells. I think it's amazing how many different varieties there are. How many different shapes, and colors, and textures.
(This is one of my all time favorite pictures. A few days before getting married in San Diego, Ryszard combed the beach for me. I love how his hands formed a perfect heart.)

I Love~

The Beach!
Whenever I'm near the ocean I ache to feel the sand beneath my toes. And every care just fades away!

Make me Smile

I was going through some files on the computer today and found this picture taken a few years ago.

My brothers Mattthew and Mark! One jumping over the other. They are both over 6 feet tall so you can see why my mom was a little freaked out!

But everytime I see this pic it makes me smile!

Big Baby!

I had an ultrasound yesterday,
where we found out that our baby weighs 2 and 1/2 pounds.(yeah!)
Which is a pound above the average weight at 25 weeks.
Looks like Ryszard will get his "Big Baby" after all.

What's in my Purse?

I love tags!!!!!! This one is from Shawna.
my purse contains:

A cell phone, lotion and "soft lips" chapstick (a must), some lipstick (that I actually never wear but for some reason always carry in my purse), some gum, a couple of pens a notepad and a calander, my camera (you never know what you might see), my keys and my wallet (which contains a whole list of other things). And on occasion I'll throw in a peice of fruit or some crackers, when I need to run errands.

My purse was a steal!
I wanted something different and some what big in order to hold every thing.
Got this baby for $7.00 marked down fro $29.00.

I should really do this again in about 3 months, when I'm sure my list of things will at least double. Considering how much baby will need!

Now I tag everyone who hasn't yet done this tag! Have fun!

On A Personal Note

I'm constantly organizing and reorganizing everything. While cleaning yesterday I came across some of my old scrapbooks. Within the pages of one book I had tucked in a couple of letters. One written by my mother, the other by my grandmother. Within the text of each letter, both of these beautiful women express the thoughts and feeling they had on the day I was born. With my own child on his way I can't help but cherish the words expressed by two of the most wonderful women in my life.
I only hope I can give the same guidance and love to this special baby who is about to become my whole world.

Diaper Cake for Kelly

Yesterday I was able to attend a baby shower for Kelly, a girl in my ward. I thought I'd try making a diaper cake, (hoping no one else had the same idea). Just thought I'd share how it came out.

The cake is made from diapers, (obviously), tiered on top of one another, with a receiving blanket wrapped around each layer. The first layer has "lolipops" made from baby wash cloths wrapped around baby spoons. The second layer has a few travel pack essentials surrounding it. The top layer has a pair of shoes and a baby key ring. I also attached a little poem to the cake that read:

"Here's a cake made with love, though I wouldn't call it yummy. For what's inside goes on the baby, not in your tummy! Flour, sugar, milk and eggs will make a cake so sweet. But diapers blankets and baby shoes will make a handy treat!"

Not bad for my first one. Plus everyone thought it was great so that made it even better!
