Turning Three

 Can hardly believe this little guy has grown ...

a simple gift..

a little over a week ago, I attended a baby shower for a very wonderful woman. Brock's nursery teacher. I of course made a fun little diaper cake for her gift. It was simple, but lots of fun.
it included a few burp cloths {handmade of course}
a receiving blanket, a cute little Carter's outfit, and a little teddy bear for the new bundle of love!

All Day...

 I find myself getting this little guy out of the window. 

He loves it up there, but it is a no no in my book. But he did look rather cute so I did find it in my heart to take a few priceless pics before making him get down. 

 

But then, Brock had to join the party.

Making Faces.

 I really don't know how it all started but the passed few days Brock has been obsessed with making faces. A few days ago he was trying the "faces" out on Nicholas, but I thought it looked a little to mean so I told Brock he can only do faces on {himself} Brock or Mommy.
As silly as he is, he still looks pretty darn cute to me!

As for Nicholas, well when I asked him to make a face for Mommy this is what he did over and over again.

Watching Daddy Play

A few Saturday's ago we spent the day watching Daddy play Flag football. {Not the we watched all that much because the boys are constantly running off to something else.} But Brock loves being able to see Ryszard play and talks about it whenever we pass a football field.   "Go there watch football, Daddy!" he always says. I find his vocabulary growing more and more each day. His stories become longer. And he is actually singing songs with me more and more, and sometimes he does not want me to sing at all so he can do it all himself. Nicholas is a dancer. He loves to dance to the beat of...well anything! It is great fun to watch. Seriously can't wait to watch these little guys grow up more. Yes, it is happening fast, but it is so much fun!

A Day at the park

 for my two boys includes lots and lots of climbing by Brock,

digging in the dirt {This was actually the first time they did this after watching a few girls playing "doggies" thanks girls :)}

 

and one very cute little boy that doesn't stop moving! {Well unless I strap him in the stroller for lunch.} 

 After about 4 hours running, climbing, swinging, digging, jumping seesawing, and just plain having fun these two little guys walked hand in hand back to the car.

I love park days!

Yesterday...

 While Brock was taking his nap Nicholas and I went outside to play. It was hard, very hard to get him to sit still for more than a nano second but here are a few of the cute shots I was able to get of this active little guy!

Trying to get a cute picture of Brock is beyond easy these days he rarely wants to sit still long enough for me to snap a shot. Lately his favorite thing to do is close his eyes nice and tight and smile really big. He's cute but the whole reason for taking the picture is to see his eyes! Yesterday after I got him ready for church, {well almost ready} he said "mommy's camera, take picture!" So I followed orders and did just that. And actually got a few very cute shots! Enjoy!
