TUCANOS!

We met a friend (Ryszard's old bishop) fro lunch at Tucanos.  For those of you not familiar with Tucanos   meats are tastefully seasoned and cooked on skewers over open-flame grills. The skewers are then brought to your table where sizzling portions are sliced onto your plate. You may choose as many different flavors and cuts as you like. With one of these little things:

a Tucanos Cue which is used to direct your server. When placed on your table, the green side indicates to our entrée servers that you wish more selections brought to your plate. If you wish to pause, or are finished with your entrée service, turn the Tucanos Cue over to the red side.
it is so good!

we had a great time chatting with our friend.
 Until next time!

Date night with Amy

As some of you may not know I spent a good amount of time as a Nanny before getting Married. I meet some many great poepkle during those years. but I have to admit my favorite person is this girl:

Amy Ambler. She is quite possibly my bestest friend Ever. We don't get to spend a lot of time together seeing as we are 3,000 miles apart. but Amy is Wonderful. She is my go to photographer.a great friend. and the one person I always make sure I visit (other than family)  when we are in Utah. I always say she is the best thing that came out of my Boston Nanny days!   anyway Ryszard and I set some time aside to do a double date night with amy and her husband Ben.  I refer to it as my Date with Amy though.  Amy I love ya like a sister! You ROCK!  Thanks for playing with us!  until next time!

Road Trip~cheyenne~friends

oh boy where do we begin?  Dallas had his first Road trip. To Cheyenne!
He was such a good boy!  our first pit stop was for me. I feed him and then we continued on. Then when he was super hungry we stopped again. but most of the time he just slept!

Nicholas was constantly asking me "how many more minutes?" "how many more minutes" and yes this is just as annoying as "are we there yet?"  I had the camera out at one point when he asked me "how many more minutes." and I told him 4 more hours he's response:

Yeah, pretty priceless reaction!

Our road trip was  a long drive but I had forgotten about some of the fun parts. the random pop ups of rock formations, amazing canyon cliffs, and tunnels!

I'm thinking the speed limit was Ryszard's favorite part of the road trip! We had a few minutes to chat with family and then headed to bed

The next morning we headed out to visit with our dear friends who had moved to Cheyenne from Chicopee a few years prior.
This moment made my heart smile! Palesa meeting Dallas!

oh my adorableness!  this little guy was just a baby last time we saw him. Now here he is holding my baby! and yes, they do weigh the same!
Kabo is 2 1/2 years older!
We got an extra day of fun with the Nkhumane's due to cousin Maddie feeling sick. we decided to spend the day at Fort Fun in Fort Collins, CO.

bumper boat and cars, balloon sling shots, arcade games and the boys favorite part of our entire trip  LAZER TAG! so fun! I also saw a pretty quilt that I just had to take a picture of to share with my Mom!

Palesa is such a dear friend and we have missed her and her family so much! We were so happy to be able to spend sometime with them.

Photo Shoot Time

Every visit to Utah includes a Photo Shoot done by my amazing, talented and beautiful friend Amy {check out her blog Here}. Today was that day. We'll be heading back to to Massachusetts soon and had to squeeze it in.
The boys had fun exploring in the corn stalks,

playing on tables,

finding rocks and

climbing trees. {this was Brock's favorite part!}

I even had a little fun with a new pretty umbrella. I can't wait to see what Amy got captured on film.

Today's Adventure...

was taking Brock along with our friends Stephanie and Braeden to a Children's Museum in Westfield, MA. Brock and Braeden had a lot of fun, Stephanie and I had fun chasing them everywhere! My favorite part was this spaceship exhibit. In this section of the museum they had all sorts of fun things to do with space balls!

my favorite part was when the space balls would fall from above all around Brock.
I think he liked that too!
Here's little astronaut Brock!

there was also a little Grocery store, and bank as well as a dentist and doctor's office, But the boys enjoyed the grocery store and spaceship the most!
