bed transformation

a few days after Christmas in and effort to clean and refresh
 We went from this:

 the empty crib in my room and the boys bed in their room {yes they share a bed and very often hug each other in their sleep}

to this:

2 in 1.
the boys love it!  and I love the open space Ryszard and I know have in our room.

   Aunt Louise gave the boys some pj's for Christmas Nicholas just LOVES his and wants to wear them EVERY night.

Handmade Christmas Gifts, literally!

 I saw something completely cute on pintrest a little over a week ago and decided that's what I wanted to do for the boys grandma's this year. and then I thought I'd make a couple more for Ryszard's Aunt Louise and Cousin Keri. I'm not even sure it's they have received them yet but here's the finished project:

 

 It was actually really fun, but hard.  remember I did a hand print for each month, times 4. that's a total of 48 pictures some with more than one hand print. and with my boys, although they love to paint doing that many pictures in the space of 30 minutes was a bit much. next year I need something a little easier! but I love how they turned out so I'm happy.

So Babcia, Nana, Lousie and Keri I hope you like it.

Christmas Eve Fun

While the Hubby went to watch football I decided to: Do a bit of shopping, clean the house, make some yummy holiday cheese balls :), and homemade salsa :). meanwhile I let the kids watch a movie. Brock came in about 20 minutes after it started to tell me Nicholas was on the train table. A big NO NO.
So when I went into to tell him to get off I found this:

 SLEEPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  and way too cute. I picked him up and placed him on the couch with a blanket. later on I gave in and let the boys open a gift. they both chose a gift from Nana. Nicholas got a cute fun outfit, {love it Mom} and Brock opened to find puzzles! His favorite thing EVER!!! He and Nicholas started putting it together right away

 Five minuets later it was done.

so we moved on to the next one entitled "Balloon Festival". Nicholas put many pieces together all by himself.  My boys are AWESOME!!!!! Thanks Nana for the puzzles!!! We love them.

Santa's Lap

 My boys both sat on Santa's lap at our church Christmas party!  although I don't think they ever fully looked into his eyes.

They are so funny!

A day of fun...

 I thought my boys deserved a day of fun.
You see I've been dragging them to the gym with me for weeks and again this morning; but today after our gym session we did this:

A complete day of FUN!

Like mother like daughter.

While in Utah this summer my Mom made rolls in her waffle iron. something she's been doing since her oven was on the frits. {Personal I like them better then the regular way} I told my self I would try them when I got back but haven't got around to it. Yesterday I picked up some frozen cinnamon rolls. so tonight as a treat  I made a few.  I prefer my homemade version more, but the Hubby sure loved them! So here it is:

Letters to Santa.

 Last  night after reading the a few Christmas stories the boys and I wrote letters to Santa. I helped Brock write his, and Nicholas just told me what he wanted and we wrote that down for him.

 Then this morning after Story time we headed to Macy's to drop off our letters.

lately the boys have been pretty naughty, so it'll be interesting to see which of Santa's list the end up on.
