Piece of Cake!

As most of you know I love to cook, but I especially love to Bake! (Key to baking is to make sure you have enough counter space which I wish I had more of! cause I would definitely bake more often if I did.) Anyway today I had the opportunity to have a little fun with my baking! The young women in our ward are hosting a Cake Auction to help earn money for girls camp. So I decided to make a fun cake to auction off. I love making these flowers (from marshmallows) which I learned how to make in a single's ward I attended (thanks to Deborah Buhl for her amazing culinary skills and for teaching me!) and the "sprinkles" are actually Nerds candies! fun fun fun!

When Ryszard and I registered at Babies R Us, we were given a little gift box full of some fun goodies. Included within the box of goodies was a coupon for a free maternity shot at Kiddie Kandids. So since I had the day off of work, (with nothing else really to do) I thought I'd go get a pic or two taken. This one is my favorite. Just thought I'd share.

Belly button speaker!

Lately Ryszard has taken up talking to the baby directly into my belly button. As if it's some sort of speaker for the baby! It really is quite cute.

Will Ryszard make it through?

I love watching the discovery health channel. Even more so now with baby on the way! This channel is always showing deliveries and birth stories which really interest me. Although Ryszard hates me watching these shows. (something about all the blood ) bothers him. But that just makes me laugh and then I ask him. "If you can't handle what's on Tv how are you ever going to make it through our own baby's delivery?" My silly husband, for such a big guy, it's funny that the littlest things make him squirm!

Ultrasound

Ryszard and I went to my 6th ultrasound ta few days ago. Everything looks great the baby was constantly sticking out his tongue (which was so adorable!) His weight is up to 3 lbs. 11 oz. Ryszard says I need to eat more so he can definitaly get the big baby he wants! Although if you ask me he'll love the baby either way! Although one thing we can definitely bet on is the kid has tons of energy, so I'm in for a life with a very active baby boy! yeah!

So there you have it 10 days of LOVE! I could seriously go on forever, but wouldn't that just get really annoying?? Maybe every once in a while I'll spring some new love for you all to see!

My Wedding Shoes!
My shoes were the very first item I bought for the wedding. (Because as we all know, your shoes are the most important part of the day!) My mom just about freaked when I told her that I had bought Hot Pink shoes with white polka dots for the wedding. But how could you not love them???
They were perfect! And totally me!

My Julia!

My neice Julia has become my little twin. Seeing as we are so much alike. She is absolutely one of my favorite people. And it's funny to think that she's only 8! Julia and I can talk for hours on end about everything! When we're together you'll most likely find us singing opera and dancing the night away!
