11months old

 can I just tell you how much I love this little guy?  He is growing up so fast. Today he turned 11 months old and I can hardly believe it. he has been on the verge of walking for a few weeks now and I'm just waiting for the day he does it. He'll walk quite a bit with his push toy but no unassisted steps yet.  Nicholas is always willing to help me out with Dallas even when I haven't asked him to. I can tell he really loves being a big brother. and having a little brother to look after.

   Dallas has been eating more and more "normal" foods. Infact he and I share most of our meals. I always slice up fruit for him to snack on while I prepare dinner. We've discovered that  he absolutely  LOVES oranges. (just like his momma) and I've noticed he doesn't favor avocado as much as his brothers did. He'll eat it when I give it to him but not on his own. (thanks a lot uncle Cameron)

Dallas is not a fan of getting ready to go outside. Hates his gloves. hates putting on his hat. Cries bloody murder when putting on his coat. observe:

 Caramel time!  we love homemade caramels! I usually make a few (4) batches and we like to share them with friends and family.

10 months.

10 months old and growing!  Dallas is so much fun both Brock and Nicholas both have lots of fun with him. Dallas loves to play with his big brothers especially when he gets to go on their beds. he is starting to get the hang out standing alone and beginning to cruise around furniture.

BINGO FOR books

 Brock's school has a fun little activity every few months called Bingo for Books. I got bingo 3 times! so I let the boys choose the books for me. We brought home some good ones. I LOVE books!

next one is in February can't wait!

9 months and a check up.

my happy little chubba!  9 months old and on the move. He is now crawling everywhere and tries to get into everything.he started crying the minute I stared getting him undressed. was completely happy when the doctor came in and then cried again in the waiting room before he had to get his blood drawn. poor bubbies.

Fat lip

first football injury that was technically not from football. all it need was a cold ice pack.  a few days later it was perfectly normal.

Colors of Fall

While at the park today with my boys I couldn't help but explore the wonderful Autumn colors.  It was a very warm muggy day today.  After gathering a few leaves (25) and picking out my favorites I came up with a pretty fun pic. Color progression for fall.

A Week Full of Firsts

This week has been crazy busy and chalk full of firsts!   Nicholas received his first black eye thanks to Brock.  It was an accident, and Nicholas has given Brock more than a few shinners himself. But still not fun to watch or see happen. Especially not much fun being the one to hold your child in the death trap just to put ice on his eye.

On to the list if fun firsts!  Dallas has been super busy this week finally rolling over. He has been able to do this for a while he just wouldn't . He would just sit there and wait for us to pick him up.  Grunting at us every time he wanted to go somewhere. But this week if he wants to go somewhere he rolls over and starts to crawl. No more butt scooting for this little dude. He is up on all fours crawling away!

Nicholas and Brock are so excited to experience all the new first Dallas has discovered.  Nicholas is constantly telling me how cute Dallas is every time he crawls from one end of the room to the other.   Which I must admit is fun.

This week Dallas also decided that it was time to pull himself up to standing position!  He loves to stand at the coffee table and bang bang bang away!   And if that wasn't enough he cut his first tooth this past Thursday. (He is also my first baby to have teething symptoms )   And another first... He put himself to sleep last night!  Wahoo!    Brock and Nicholas both love their bubby so much and get a little possessive. Especially Nicholas. He is the fighter but has such a sweet kind heart.
