1 year later

It's hard to believe my little chubby bubby is now one year old. Time is flying by. I still remember the day of his birth like it was yesterday.

So many wonderful experiences we had this year. So many new adventures to come. Happy first birthday Dallas.

 traditional Snow Angels.   and although it looks like the boys mad this on a frozen lake. It is in fact just our frozen backyard!  I took the boys around the back yard on a sled.

 Which Dallas made no expression until I took him off and he watched the boys go around without him

 

Put him back on and he was all smiles again. Okay maybe not all smiles but at least he stopped crying!

Birthday Fun

After  a week of not sounding great and not getting any better I decided to take Dallas into the Doctor.  after hours of waiting and xrays,
 

 and breathing treatment. 

we went home just to find out later that he had the flu. not exactly how I planned to spend my birthday But glad my Little Bubby is feeling  a little better 

and we know what is going on now. 

 happy 32nd to me! got my yummy birthday burger at red robin too!

Ice Ice baby!

took the boys for a little visit to the Children's museum and found this left over ice sculpture from "first night"  boys loved it!

11months old

 can I just tell you how much I love this little guy?  He is growing up so fast. Today he turned 11 months old and I can hardly believe it. he has been on the verge of walking for a few weeks now and I'm just waiting for the day he does it. He'll walk quite a bit with his push toy but no unassisted steps yet.  Nicholas is always willing to help me out with Dallas even when I haven't asked him to. I can tell he really loves being a big brother. and having a little brother to look after.

   Dallas has been eating more and more "normal" foods. Infact he and I share most of our meals. I always slice up fruit for him to snack on while I prepare dinner. We've discovered that  he absolutely  LOVES oranges. (just like his momma) and I've noticed he doesn't favor avocado as much as his brothers did. He'll eat it when I give it to him but not on his own. (thanks a lot uncle Cameron) 

so many fun things happening with our Chubby Bubby. next month he turns 1!

Dallas is not a fan of getting ready to go outside. Hates his gloves. hates putting on his hat. Cries bloody murder when putting on his coat. observe:

poor Bubba. can't wait for warm weather days again!

it's that time of year again

 Caramel time!  we love homemade caramels! I usually make a few (4) batches and we like to share them with friends and family.
