The Big EEEEEEEEEE!

Every year we venture over to the Big E  (Eastern States Expo)  basically a giant state fair. (only it includes all of the northeastern states.) We ride ride, see animals, play games, eat food! and just have fun as a family.

Preschool!

Nicholas started preschool last week . And LOVES it!   I was really worried that I would have to take him kicking and screaming.  Thankfully he is enjoying all the fun new things to discover. He made a friend his first day and there are best buds at school.  He really loves gym days and centers. I think it helps that we were able to get the same teacher Brock had. Mrs M. Is super fun and the kids love her. I am so happy to see how excited he is for each new day. He has been learning sight words and we practice reading them as often as we can.

We are so excited to see how much he will learn and grow this year. 

back to school time!

I have been looking forward to this day all summer. Don;t get me wrong I LOVE my boys. Nicholas is very sweet and has a tender heart but he is also a puncher. Brock is helpful, smart, and energetic, but he is a teaser. These boys together are up to no good. I find them fighting constantly. and no matter what I do, say, take away, reward them for, they will continue to fight every minute.
I have yelled way more then I wanted to this summer.  Nicholas will be attending preschool this year but doesn't start til next week. Brock on the other hand started back today. As a first Grader!

A Pool for Dallas

We had a low key labor day. I had hopes of throwing a labor day BBQ but time got away from me. and with school starting for Brock tomorrow I decided to have one last day of complete summer fun.  time to break out the slip and slide. Oh and a little pool for Dallas.

Football Jamboree

Double header for Brock today.  To kick off his first tiny mites football season.  He has been doing great at practice. and we were so excited to see him play his first game(s).

Dallas another month older!

Another month gone by way to quick! And Dallas is just getting bigger and cuter everyday!

he is sitting up like a champ now and has started butt scootin' everywhere. we especially love when he starts dancing!  love seeing all the new things he is discovering!  now 25 lbs, off the charts on everything! so excited for all the things to come! happy 7 months Chubby!

 

Hot Days call for cool sprays!

 we've had some really warm days lately so we decided to visit one of the splash parks in the area. my boys really like this one. Lots of fun water sprays as well as a fun climbing structure.
