Goodbye

last night I sold my car. It was my first car, and a good one. Now I have some cash to spend! well most of it will go into savings but I do want to buy something fun, the question is what? I've really been thinking about a fun decorative but fun chair for the bedroom corner, or and desk/ sewing table. or maybe even a fun Tablet? what or what should it be?

Tender Moments & a Treat.

Yesterday the boys and I went with a group of friends up to Vermont to visit the Joseph Smith Birthplace  Memorial.
  The whole week leading up to our little trip we learned little things about Joseph Smith during "learning time" at home, but when we got there Brock thought we were actually going to see Joseph Smith.{guess I've got to explain that one a little better} The boys were great in the car but after a 2 hour drive, they just wanted to run around. {can't blame them really}
 So while everyone else watch a little movie,  we hung out in the hall. on the chairs, and ended up going out side into the little bit of snow they had there. {our winter has been pretty bleak} The boys did more running around or should I say running away from me!

They got cold so we went back inside just in time to meet our friends.

 We then went a little further north to Ben and Jerry's! Where we enjoyed a little tour

and then received a fun ice cream treat at the end. Our flavor sample was mint chocolate chip. Very yummy and shockingly, Brock enjoyed every last lick.

 {He is usually not an ice cream boy}. They even have a flavor graveyard located there for all their retired flavors.  {Hopefully my favorite never ends up there!}

 It was fun. Thanks to our dear friends for thinking of us and bringing us along on the ride.

baby vs. puppy?...

 Yes I am feeling that little void. you know the one where your baby is just a bit too big to want to cuddle with you all the time., and you start to feel like hey maybe it's time for a new baby or something to fill that void? that's where I am. If you ask Brock {most of the time} he'll tell you he wants a baby sister. if you ask Nicholas he'll say he'll want a puppy more then a baby. 












 I guess only time will tell because truthfully, I'd like one of each. {just not at the same time!}

Muscle Man

Every time we eat,  and I mean EVERY TIME. Brock will stand up on his chair and say; "Look Mom, I'm bigger" and then he usually insists on being measured. 

 Nicholas in turn has taken to standing up on his chair and saying; " I big" 

Ryszard and I are always telling the boys  that if they eats healthy foods and gets a good night rest they will grow bigger and bigger every day. {Nicholas doesn't understand much} but it creates a competition for Brock. He always wants to eat more,, so he will be bigger than Nicholas.   Lately Brock's been learning how to make a muscle.

It's very very cute. The other day When I was getting him ready for church he asked me to take a picture of his muscles. Okay buddy!

My Baby is a Big BOY!

 

Over the weekend Nicholas turned 2 . Brock was very cute saying happy birthday to him all day long. Brock also took it upon himself to open and play with all of Nicholas' birthday presents.  I think Nicholas favorite is the little Jeep his Aunt Wendy and Uncle Adrian sent him from Wyoming. He's been carrying it around almost all day ever since he opened it.  {Even taking it to church with him the next day} We enjoyed a few fun things: dinner at friendly's had friends over to play trains and eat cupcakes, and of course our free ice cream from coldstone! All in all a very Yummy Birthday!
