Story time, trains, veveator working up.
Target, stores, no penny's.
shoot hoops, pactice golf, look hoops, veveator.
go home, tired.
Caillou.
"down the hill round da ben Thomas and friend"

Do you need a translation?
veveator= elevator {it was working and we took it up!}
no penny's= not wanting to go into JC Penny's
and he's been singing a lot of Thomas songs lately. He loves Thomas songs {even sings a few in Chinese!}

Oh man this little guy sure makes me smile!

books.

I love Books. I love to read. but I'm pretty particular too. If I'm not into it by the first page I know I will not like the book. I've tried many many times to "give the book a chance" when I get to the end of the first page and still am not into it, but it never works.
I recently decided to get a few books to read when I have a chance and i finished on today it's entitled, "To have and to Kill" by Mary Jane Clark. I don't think the writing is very good but It was a quick easy read that actually got me hooked with in the first few lines. if your interested in a quick fun read check it out. but if you want something more in depth or with better writing just pass on this one.

Big Boy Shoes!

I noticed the other day that Nicholas' shoes were looking a little tight, so...
I broke out the big boy shoes. You know the kind with hard soles and laces!
I put them on his feet for a few minutes yesterday and he just Loved them. Dancing all around the room.
Today he "wore" them for the first time and loved them all over again!

Brock's New Addiction

We got this puzzle when we were out today and it's the first thing he wanted to do when we got home. The puzzles he usually plays with have been at the most 12 pieces. Brock was very well behaved today, so I bought him a new "cars" puzzle. {He's been wanting one for a while now.}
48 pieces. I thought I would help him get started but he wouldn't let me. He did it all. 48 pieces. By himself. Then when he was finished he messed it up and started again.
Did I mention he went from a 12 piece puzzle to 48 like it was nothing?
He's taken it apart and put it back together at least a dozen times now. {I finally made him clean up so we could get ready for bed.}
I sure love this little guy and his new puzzle addiction. It's one way to get him to sit still for a moment, that and computer time, {where he surprisingly, likes to do...
puzzles!}

Waking up early..

I swear my boys are waking up early and earlier, That or I'm going to bed too late. Anyway, this morning we got up and came into the front room I turned on the TV for them to watch while I made breakfast I didn't like what was on Pbs at the time {Martha Speaks that show just bugs me for some reason} so I turned it to Disney channel and the show Tinga Tinga Tales was on. I have never seen it, but thought it looked okay for the boys. It was on for just a second and Brock turned to me and said :
"No MOM, not like this. It...
CRAZY. I no like it"

And then just now after giving him a new puzzle to try, {he finished it way too fast!} I said "you did that whole puzzle already! Wow you are.." CRAZY" Brock says finishing my sentence for me.
{Seriously the funniest thing ever, but now I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't use the word crazy to describe things.}

We're Still Here.

Yes, we are still around just bee very lazy about posting on the blog. but I'm back! the boys and I have been going a bit stir crazy. My car was getting fixed and hopefully everything will continue to work fine for another couple of years {by then it'll be time for a new one :) } The boys and I were glad to get back to normal happenings.
just an up date on the boys:
Nicholas
is now 14 months old. He has figured out how to unlock the doors so we have to be a little more aware of where he is running off to these days. He loves to go "dow" {down} stairs and anytime he is sad I simply say, Nicholas you want to go down? And he is running for the door. He loves to say hello to anyone on the phone and loves to see pictures of himself and Brock. He also loves giving hugs to Elmo and other babies on TV.

Brock,
oh Brock what am I going to do...
He is go go go all the time. Lately he has been fighting me on taking his daily nap. {but he still needs one}. He has picked up the saying "I'm Brocky. I in Charge." I have no idea where he learned that, but he says it to Nicholas at least once a day. Brock loves to create "crashes" with anything and everything I am still trying to teach him that crashes are not fun or funny. So far it's not working.
I am in the process of De-junking. I've been going through things slowly and just coming to terms with the fact that I'm never going to use certain things. Some things I really love but after 5-8 years of just sitting in a container I think it's safe to say it's not coming out anytime soon. {If only I could convince the Hubby to "Kick the Klutter" too.} The good thing about going through these things is I've discovered a few things about myself, and how much my taste/likes have changed I really like simplicity. The saying a little goes a long way. I've also been able to share some of my unwanted/ unneeded things with friends which makes me feel a little better about getting rid of so much because a lot of it is new, or barely used. It's all part of the "refreshing" process I've taken on. Hopefully it works!

A Lazy Week

with Mommy's broken car in the shop getting "fixed". We've had a very lazy week hanging out at the house. {Although I have been going through some things and have 3 boxes of "stuff" to get rid of. I'm so, so tired of stuff } We've just been hanging out here at the house. Although I am dying to get back to our routine, not that we have much of a routine, but Brock misses going for rides and looking at the toys at the stores. Plus today we are missing Story Time :(. but Nicholas is keeping us entertained with his dancing and ever growing love for Elmo.
This boy is Too cute!
