Brock and his Utah Cousins

During our last night in Utah, we got a picture of Brock with his Utah cousins.
Brock had a blast with all of them and even learned a few new "tricks" from cousin Riley! We had so much fun at Nana's house, and can't wait to see her again.

Baby Belly

A few days ago my good friend Amy and I got together to get some pictures of my baby belly, and a few of Brock. Just thought I'd share a sneak peek with you too!


Amy is also the one who took our Wedding photos and I always love what she is able to capture. I'm already thinking about next year when we hope to come visit again. Amy thank you so much for the get pictures and your amazing friendship! {Seriously could Brock's eyes be even cuter?}

Show and Teach!

Today Brock was the star of Mrs Lunceford's Show and Teach! {That is what my mom calls show and tell in her classroom.} We went in and talked to her classroom about Brock's Clubfeet. I passed around a picture for all the kids to look at and then talked about his casting process. I also brought in Brock's current brace for them to see. and talked a little about why he needs to wear them and for how long. They couldn't believe that he had to wear them all night. Then Nana aka Mrs. Lunceford told them about how Brock likes to try to walk in his brace but usually ends up wobbling or falling down. She then told them about when he crawls in the brace and what it looks like, that made the kids laugh. {I have to admit it is pretty funny how fast and silly it looks, but Brock's brace has never slowed him down!}
It was really fun and went by really fast, then again it is first grade! Brock loved seeing all the kids, and at one point Brock climbed into one of the students' chair. Which in turn made all the kids want to hover around him. It was so fun to see Brock completely happy but it must have worn him out too, because the minute we got back to the house he was fast asleep!

Temple Dedication and Baby Tyler's Blessing Day

After My Mom and I attended the dedication session for the Oqirrh Mountian Utah Temple, {where we heard and felt so many great stories of faith, one of which including a man born with clubfoot that wasn't corrected until he was 24 years old. (Can you just imagine my fellow clubfoot mommies?) Which after a nudge from Mom reminded me of how blessed we truly are for the medical advances we now have}
Brock and I had the great opportunity {along with the rest of the family} to see baby Tyler blessed by uncle Matt today. My sister April wanted me to be here for it and that makes me feel so special. Uncle Matt did a wonderful job. I was able to meet some of Aprils neighbors and friends and after the blessing we had a very yummy lunch prepared By Tyler's daddy Sergio. He made Carne Asada for all of us and I was in heaven, it was muy bueno! Brock ate almost half of my food and was a very good boy. After lunch we had a little water balloon fight for the kids, but Sergio decided to kick that off by spraying me with the kitchen hose. {I am now planning my revenge!} It was a great day. I absolute love spending time with my family, and I love that Brock has so many cousins to play with.

Remembering Grandpa Joe

Today we are remembering Grandpa Joe. He passed away on Saturday. Brock was very sweet when I was telling him about what happened he noticed the sadness in my voice and came over to give me a big hug and kiss. It's really amazing how much he knows and understands. Ryszard is with his family down in Pennsylvania for a few days and Brock and I are very sad that we are not with him. But we know that grandpa is in a much better place.

Joseph A. Milewski, age 85 of Plymouth, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2009. Born November 9, 1923 in Plymouth, he was he son of the late Stanislaus & Emilia Zbiszewski Milewski.

He was a graduate of Plymouth High School, Class of 1942 and later trained to become an automotive mechanic. He was a member of Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church of Plymouth and he had been very active with many church functions, including the Pierogi Project.

He was a United States Navy Veteran serving during World War II and the Korean War.

Prior to retirement, he was employed at Roscoe Millers, Eidam Cadillac, City Cheverlet, Kingston Dodge and Interstate Dress. He was also self-employed as an auto mechanic. He was a member of the Plymouth Senior Citizen’s Club serving as a bingo caller.

Throughout his life, he great enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City, Wilkes Unniversity Basketball, the Philadelphia, Phillies, Penn State, Polka dances, fishing and He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his former wife, Emily I. Plaza Milewski; son, Rev. Joseph L. Milewski of California; brothers, Stanley and Anthony Milewski and sister, Bertha Dalkiewicz.

Surviving are his daughter, Louise A. Kuchinskas of Plymouth; 3 grandchildren, Ryszard Milewski and his wife, Jocelyn of Chicopee, Mass., Keri Kuchinskas of St. Petersburg Beach, Florida and Adrian Milewski and his wife, Wendy of Cheyenne, Wyo.; great-grandson, Brock Logan Milewski; sisters, Joanna (Jean) Lech of N.J., Josephine Buzin of N.J. and Anna Shedloski of Mountain Top; companion, Jeanne Krolikowski of Plymouth; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 from the S.J.Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in the Good Shepherd Polish National Catholic Church, Plymouth with Reverend Pawel Filip, pastor and Reverend Doctor Czeslaw Kuliczkowski, retired pastor officiating.

Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.


We love you grandpa and can't wait to be with you again!

Fun with cousin Riley.

Brock's cousin Riley is so much fun. He has a whole collection of balls at his house. Needless to say Brock loves to go over to aunt April's. This morning we did a quick errand of finding a blessing outfit for my nephew Tyler, after we were done we decided to go over to April's and go "splish splash" in the froggy pool!
{Brock and Riley have the same pool!} It was so fun watching the boys play together.
Even baby Tyler came out to see what was going on!
