A Hard Goodbye.

Yesterday Ryszard, Brock and I took a little drive to Bradley airport to drop off my Mom and niece Julia for their flight back to Utah. It has been so great having them here for a visit these past few weeks. Being able to share with them our absolute bliss as new parents to such an amazing little boy. I am so happy that we were able to have Brock blessed while they were here. Ryszard is somewhat of a teaser and it's been nice for my Mom to see his more serious, gentle side. Julia spent lots of time holding baby Brock and giving him plenty of hugs and kisses. It's been go great watching my favorite little niece interacting with my baby boy. Right when we got out of the car at the airport my mom started crying, which then in turn made me cry. It's so hard for me to be so far away from my family, especially my mom. She is the MOST amazing woman I know. A great mom, and my best friend. We love you guys. We will miss you, and hope to come visit you in Utah soon!

Tipping the scales!

While holding Brock this morning I said to myself, "My baby is definitely over 10 pounds."
And that he is, Brock weighed in at 10 pounds 5.2 ounces. He's gained almost a full two pounds since his birth. What a big boy I have.

Brock just Giggled!

Today while holding Brock I felt his stomach doing something "funny" when I looked down at him he had a huge grin on his face. "Brock's giggling!" Then just now while I was posting Father's Day post my mom felt the same thing, looked down at Brock and again a huge smile was on his face. Heavenly Father must be telling him some Great stories!

Happy Father's Day

When Ryszard and I were dating I always got him a new tie for the holidays, {I have a thing for really good looking ties} Well Brock and I wanted to make a very special gift for Ryszard's first father's day. And believe me it was quite the project. I never thought it'd be so hard to get my baby's hand print, but with my moms help we got it done. Julia and I also made some "shirt" cards. I used to make these all the time when I was little, but couldn't remember just how it was done. So I went online to find instructions but they were all different. After about 2 hours my mom and I finally figured out the right one.

Ryszard also loves Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, so my Mom, Julia and I made our own Ice Cream Cake. Just layer ice cream sandwiches, cool whip and cut up Reese's.

It was so very yummy!

SMILE!

While taking a picture to send to Uncle Adrian, Brock smiled so big. Not that it hasn't happened before, but this time we caught it on camera. Just wanted to share it with all of you.

Doesn't he look just like his Daddy?

Something I just had to share!

I was browsing through some random blogs this morning and came across this quote I just had to share.

"Some people are like slinkies:
not really good for anything,
but they bring a smile to your face
when pushed down the stairs. "

Thought this was too great not to share. Makes your wonder who's on my "Slinky" list huh!
funny funny!

Can't Get Enough!

Why is it you can sit there and watch a baby sleep all day? Like there's nothing else going on in the world.

From the beginning Brock has been a sleeper. He is so adorably cute. I love the huge amazing grins he makes when he's sleeping. I always say it's his great grandmas up in heaven giving him kisses. Or as my niece Julia says, his "angel friends" are talking to him.

I think we're both right. But seriously I can't get enough of him. Especially when he is sleeping. Watching his little hands move about, and his tiny lips making the cutest kissy faces.

He's just too perfect!

What can I say, I made the cutest baby!
