Songs in my head.

Don't you hate when you have a song stuck I your head and it won't go away until you figure out where the song is from. I was like that all day today and kept asking everyone if they knew what song it was. No one did, so I came home with the mission of finding out what song was dancing away in my head all day. Well I finally figured it out it was some crazy song from Saturday's Warrior's and that just made me laugh so hard. No wonder no one at work knew the song and thought I was making it up.. {I do sing some crazy songs at times~ mostly songs my grandma Andersen used to sing all the time.} But seriously I've been laughing to myself ever since.

10 Things that make me Happy!

I was tagged by my dear friend Shawna so here goes:
1~My Husband Ryszard. {Granted he drives me absolutely bonkers at times, but I still love him.} And I love that we chose to be married for 'Time and all Eternity'.
2~I love being a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I can't imagine my life without the gospel in it.
3~ Cold Stone ice cream. Isn't it just about the great place ever????
4~ Making yummy food. I've always loved trying new things. sometimes recipes, other times just something I felt went together. And thanks to my big family I always had someone to test them out on.
5~My baby boy. Although he's not quite here yet. I just find it so amazing how you can fall so completely in love with someone without actually having seen him yet. I love watching all the little movements he makes. {Granted it's not always the most comfortable feeling} Plus it kind of freaks out Ryszard and that just makes me laugh.
6~Ballroom dancing! and music. Which really go hand in hand. I love any song that makes you want to get up and dance. Although you will never find me doing any sort of line dancing. Or any dance where everyone makes the exact same movement at the exact same time. {aka, boot scooting boogie, chicken dance, YMCA. ugh!}
7~Scrapbooking. Although I haven't done much of it lately, {I blame that on not really having any room to let the creativity flow} I'm also getting into making my own cards. My sister Julie is always sending me the cutest homemade cards, Plus I always think it really shows how much you care when you take the time to create something yourself.
8~Swinging! My up most favorite childhood pastime. And I don't think I'll ever out grow it.
9~Reading. I love getting lost within the pages of a book. First telling yourself you'll read one more chapter. Okay maybe just one more, then one more after that, and before you know it half the day is gone, or in my case the sun is rising and I have yet to let my head hit the pillow.
10~Popcorn! {I'm with Shawna on this one.} We always went to grandma Lunceford's house on Sundays after church where she made the best popcorn ever. And my grandma Andersen made the most delicious Carmel popcorn balls. I'm sure I have her recipe somewhere but I'm afraid to try it thinking that they'll never taste quite as good as hers.

~Now I tag Amy, Julie, Kelly, Teresa and whoever else wants to join in the fun!~

Life at 9 Months

It really is crazy how fast this came, although then there are my friends who think I've been pregnant forever, and I should go ahead and have the baby already! Today is the first of my weekly doctor visits. (super fun) So it'll be interesting to see how those go. But up until now everything has been great. I count myself pretty lucky. I got through this without any of the normal pregnancy symptoms. no nausea, or morning sickness, no weird cravings. (although while I was working the other day and Oreo's were looking pretty good, I knew something must be wrong with me. I hate Oreos.) no crazy dreams, except last night when I dreamed you could see the entire outline of the baby, with his elbows and spine poking way out, {In my dream my brother Mark thought it looked wicked cool! }
And now here I am in my 9 month stage and only 4 weeks to go, with only a few contractions now and then. So I have to admit it's been pretty easy. I keep telling Ryszard to be happy that it hasn't been the other way around. (He'd be outta here for sure!)

29 days!

Only 29 days left until baby is due to arrive. Are you kidding me where has the time gone. That's less then a month! Then again I'm actually shooting for the 19th of May, (so that would make it only 25 days left!) Not that's there's any real reason for the 19th. It just sounded like a good day. Plus my Mom and niece Julia are coming to visit the first couple of weeks in June. So I'm hoping that baby will come a little earlier than his due date so we can have his baby blessing while they're here. I'm not nervous at all for the baby, (6 years as a nanny prepared me for that). But actually getting everything washed, folded, set up and ready to go. That's another story!

Too Much?

So I finally figured out how to change my background. I'm so proud of myself! Although Ryszard now says that it's too much. He doesn't like the flowers all over the place. But I think it's totally cute! Maybe it's just too girly for him. But hey look who he married!

Last Ultrasound

Today I went for what I think will be my last ultrasound, at least for this baby. Considering there's not much more you can do at this point. Ryszard and I got an estimation of the baby's weight at 6 lbs 10 oz. Holy cow! and I still have a month to go. The doctor said we have a pretty good chance of having up to a 9 pound baby! {heaven help me} Needless to say Ryszard is very happy about his Big Boy. I hope I can get through it all in one piece.
