just put an ad up to sell my car.

 oh the many places we have gone.

 oh the memories we have made!

sad sad day.  I love my car, but it's time to let it go. 

My Baby is a Big BOY!

 

Over the weekend Nicholas turned 2 . Brock was very cute saying happy birthday to him all day long. Brock also took it upon himself to open and play with all of Nicholas' birthday presents.  I think Nicholas favorite is the little Jeep his Aunt Wendy and Uncle Adrian sent him from Wyoming. He's been carrying it around almost all day ever since he opened it.  {Even taking it to church with him the next day} We enjoyed a few fun things: dinner at friendly's had friends over to play trains and eat cupcakes, and of course our free ice cream from coldstone! All in all a very Yummy Birthday!

School Time. Week 1

 One of the many goals I set for myself this year was to teach my kids more. I feel like so far I've been doing pretty well, but I really want to do more. So I've decided to start "school Time, or Learning time"  and this week went really well. This past week I planned out a simple lesson to teach them everyday.  and I'm happy to say they both did very well.  we've talked about color. and they each got to gather an armful of cars to "park" in it's coordinating parking lot aka colored paper.  I've started teaching the ABC's to Nicholas {goal is for him to learn his ABC by sight and sound by the 21st of next month} and Brock is working on writing his name {as well as his letters}, I've gone over their Sunday lessons with them to reinstate those gospel principles. plus on the Thursday was my birthday so we learned a few things about mommy. and counted to 29 {yep I'm 29 and oh so proud!}  we also spent a day {aka 10- minuets which is how long school/ learning time tends to be} singing head shoulders knees and toes in a variety of fun ways. All in all it was a good week.

 And when I'm done writing this I'll be on to planning this weeks activities. Here's hoping I can continue to make learning fun for both my boys.

Today's my BIRTHDAY!

I took the boys with me to Red Robin after our usual story time adventure to Barnes and Noble. We enjoyed a yummy lunch and not only did I get my burger free. I got a free dessert too!  Yummy!
