a different view.

 Brock followed a park friend up a tree the other day, and has loved climbing since. I don't know whether I should be amazed at how much my big boy can do at such a young age, or scared that he is growing up Too fast. Either way it's these simple moments that make being a Mom oh so fun.

  

Puppy Play

My boys love puppies. usually our "puppy play" consists of visiting a local pet shop and looking at the puppies for sale. Here in Utah while we visit Nana. We are lucky to get in some real puppy play time with cousin Julia's doggie Brooklyn. Nicholas has no fear and goes right up to her to get kisses and hug. he loves it. Brock like having Brooklyn chase him around. Either way I have to admit that puppy Brooklyn is lots of fun.

A few days ago my very best friends had a party to celebrate their 7th wedding anniversary.  Brock and Nicholas had a great time running around and playing, and I loved having some adult conversation and catching up with friends. Nicholas loved these blue lips favor and wanted to use them to give me kisses all night long.

Loving Brock...

Yesterday I watched my nephew Riley while his siblings went to the pediatrician. Then all the kids came over to Nana's house to play. Brock loved playing with all the kids and was often kneeling down to hug or kiss his cousins Hailey and Krya. then after a while he sat on the floor and asked: "Mommy I hold this?" pointing to Krya.

I thought it was too cute.
After some more playing we took April and the kids home and Brock fell asleep on the way back to Nana's.

Must have played hard.

Craving 1...

no I'm not pregnant. but when you haven't had something in a while, and you know you're only minutes away from getting them, you can't waste anytime.
Yesterday I fulfilled one of my cravings that I can only get in Utah.

There are some moments.

you know those moments after watching the news on devastating storms whether it be tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis,etc. And you go on with your life. You run your errands and while out your see signs for "aide" give for those who lost.
It all becomes a little surreal when those signs become aid for your own community.While at Costco on Saturday I saw a few of those signs and my immediate thought went to those in Joplin. and then after exiting the store I thought wow that for us.
Last week a Tornado touched down in a few surrounding communities. One being near the chapel where we go to church. I had Ryszard drive me around a little bit after church on Sunday to see things up close. He pointed out buildings that had become piles of ruble, massive trees that were uprooted and laying on their side now being cleared away.

I personally was unaffected. But after our quick drive around taking a few pictures and Hearing the Testimony of a few members that LIVED through the sights and sounds of the Tornado and came out with stronger faith in God.  My heart is full.  I was sent messages on facebook , phone calls from friends and family asking if we were okay.
I am blessed.
